Moe Manabe is a bilingual (English/Japanese) line producer and production manager with a global outlook and a Tokyo-honed edge. She works across commercial, branded content, and documentary-style productions, known for bringing clarity, care, and cross-cultural fluency to every set she joins.

Born in Tokyo and raised in Osaka, Moe launched her producing career in Tokyo’s fast-paced commercial industry. There, she built a strong foundation in international logistics, creative collaboration, and on-the-ground problem-solving—often acting as the bridge between clients, creatives, and crews.

Now based in Toronto, she is shifting her focus toward narrative filmmaking, with a growing interest in human-centered stories that resonate across cultures. She recently line produced her first independent short film and is actively seeking new opportunities in scripted and hybrid formats.

Moe continues to work as a freelance production manager and line producer, cultivating thoughtful collaborations with filmmakers around the world—and always bringing a calm, people-first approach to every project she touches.
